Katie, Anne, Elena & Mel are all in the qualies, with Naomi injured. Last player in the qualies is Gumalya, so Mel easily made it. Sarah withdrew, but would have been around 5 places out at the moment.

Real shame about Naomi's injury, on that Auckland form she looked like a cert to qualify, the ankle injury must be quite serious for her to pull out of Fed Cup which is 3-4 weeks away...maybe it could be 2 months out.....hope not

Anne is 3rd up on Court 8 while Mel is 5th on Court 8

Bally is 5th on Court 14
