Miles is 3rd alt now after some withdrawals.

So after SE's (do they exist in Week 2 when there were no futures in Week1????) he'd be next in line or top seed in qualies.

De Chaunac in the main draw played ATP this week so may decide not to show.

Ken Skupski is the only British representative in the qualifying.

Seeded 14 he has a bye to QR2 of 4. The pother seed in his section is Fred Hemmes of Ned who is ranked 564.

Likely QR2 opponent is Jiri Krkoska of Cze ranked 899.

The next step for Ken has to be progressing and winning a few matches in these bigger $15k +H tourneys abroad. A good couple of months at this level and he'll join Slabba in the top 500 I'm sure.

Kasiri will have made the main draw. Eaton must have just decided not to go

Decent chance for Skupski here, should qualify, courts will suit his game, Hemmes could be tricky as he's been top 400, is a really hard hitter with a good forehand but nothing spectacular

is there a doubles draw/list yet? Have Bloomfield and Skupski signed up I wonder?

Good luck to Ken in the qualies, I'd love to see him do really well this year and break the top 500.

Bloomers and Ken do play doubles together!!

They are seeded but not a great draw against Karol Beck (coming back from suspension), and Timo Nieminen

Singles
Round 1 - Richard BLOOMFIELD vs Sebastien DE CHAUNAC (FRA)

Richard 'bumped down to 3rd seed with late inclusion of Izak Van Der Merwe (RSA) who is marked as (Q) in addition to the 4 WC ?

Doubles -
Round 1 - Richard BLOOMFIELD / Ken SKUPSKI (GBR) vs Karol BECK / Timo NIEMINEN (SVK / FIN)

Ken's Quali result awaited - No other Brits in draw!

really crap draw for Bloomers.

Come on Ken!

By the lok of it, Van Der Merwe had to go thru qualies because he didn't sign up in time but once he's made the main draw he's as much right as anyone to be seeded by ranking.

I think they could win the doubles here.

Quite correct - I missed the fact that Van der Merwe actually played qualies.
I wonder why only his result was posted?
