But Henman argued that Murray's cast-off could help spark Bogdanovic's career. "With Alex, it certainly isn't about his tennis ability. He strikes the ball better than many players on the main tour, but the areas where he needs the biggest improvement are mentally and physically, and I know Brad is going to be on his case in a big way. ''Brad's knowledge and motivation could be of enormous benefit to Alex,"

I suspect Brad will either make Boggo or break him. This is almost certainly his best opportunity to make the step up into the top 100. I hope he gives it 110% and it works, but being honest I'm really not sure that mentally Boggo will thrive in the Brad pressure cooker.

thing is alex was close to top 100 with Lundi, had great perforamce at queens, i also watched him a bit in training there and he was hitting great vs delic, also he was playing well in the dubs at both queens with marat and wimby wih south.

the article highlights the fact that he only won 6 matches since wimby, helps bring to light how bad his injuries have been this year, no wonder he has slipped so low in the rankings. i am sure without that run of injuries he would have broken the top 100 anyway (whether he would have remined there towards the end of the year with all those points he had to defend is another matter)

if Alex can get on well with Brad (he has already spent some time with him so they should know already) then he can take advantge of it as Brad's strengths do seem to match Alex's weaknesses and Brad loves matching strength v weakness in tennis.

Hopefully having Brad will also help get Alex the other vital support, when he injured himself in Newport he didnt have access to a proper physio untill Murray flew over with his, and once that guy started work Alex got better much quicker (only to hurt a differnt thing at Sunrise ch) he had used a local physio 1st but that made it worse apartently.

i know Alex is training in florida at the mo, is Jamie B over there too? i guess Andy will have to come back tothe uk for the sports personality award cermony?

do the lta still run their La Manga sessions? maybe iot would be better to go to florida instead, although make su wonder about the point of the NTC.
