I will be in Delhi during the second Challenger in December. No idea where it'll be played, so not sure if I'll be able to go and see.

Hope to be at Queens qualies again!

Might not rule out a Wrexham tournament at some point!

Wirral is other side of river from Liverpool. Or, to the uneducated - that bit that separates Brookside from Hollyoaks!

Johnnylad, there's a women's $10k at Wrexham in late January (I'm awaiting selection to work it)

sounds good.

I have to admit to being much less interested in the womens game than the mens. I'd rather watch a mens futures than a womens wta.

Hope you get the gig though. If thee's any Brit action by the saturday I might show!

Great stuff...hopefully there's a Brit you can report on smile.gif Do you know any of the players through umpiring, or do players and umpires not tend to mingle off-court ?

Who would you say is an umpire's nightmare, ie gives you the most hassle regularly...can be Brit or foreigner ?

I don't know any of them. Other umpires sort of know them because they work with them more often up and down the country, but have to keep some kind of distance so there can't be a claim of conflict of interests/bias towards some players.

I might try to make a Sutton event since that's the only ITF tournament venue that's nearish. Probably only if there's a brit in action at the weekend, though.

I'll probably go to a day or two of Eastbourne and Wimbledon, too, if the weather is OK.
