Well, on a quick count, he has played in 20 tournaments this year and 13 of them were clay. The other 7 were hard - and he was beaten in the first round of all of those 7
Looks like a decent chance for Jamie, only 2 (?) more tourneys after this so some pts would be very welcome especially with all he's got to defend from Feb-March, push him up towards the 200 mark ahead of the new season
If he gets through, I reckon he can beat Oudsema/Vemic, even though he's lost to both over the past 2 weeks, both matches have been very close
that is very disappointing after such a good start.....been another unprofitable autumn run in the States for Jamie
Do we think he's doing the right thing playing the US challenger tour or should he play more of the European indoor challengers ? (which he's never done)....Alan Mackin (who had a very similar game style to Jamie) had a lot more success in the European indoor tourneys than on the slower courts in the States
