Great start, can't get much better than that !

Jade looks in fine form, beat Steiro 7-5, 6-2 a couple of weeks ago, so good chance to make another 25K main draw.

This is Natasha's first tourney for about a month due to that stomach injury...probably a bit rusty against Chan. Luckily she has an easy-ish final round draw, opponent ranked 719 and has reached a couple of 10K quarters on clay but not much else

On paper Olivia's match looks tough and she did struggle earlier today, but her opponent's ranked 423 but has won only a handful of matches all year so a real chance imo !

Haberkorn will be a tough opponent, very consistent and really fit, makes you work for every single point but Amanda's a classy player, much better than her current ranking. If she plays well she can win this one, she's good enough to trouble the main draw players

On the (loose) subject of brightonian women tennis players...

Whatever happened to Michaela Ince? She was doing OK in the Juniors and trying her hand at the Bath qualies in March/April then nothing since.
