Sheddie, I cant get there myself this year but you'll find it a good place to watch tennis at this level. An overhead walkway means you can view a few matches at once whilst the players do likewise between matches and you can chat away to them to your hearts content. It really is just 100yards from the tube station, have a good time.
Willis was supposed to do the qualies here but has suffered a minor injury. I believe that he is skipping this more as a precaution.
Wild cards have most probably gone to any four of Cox, Evans, Allinson, Eaton, Pauffley, Knights and Angus.
I'm more or less sure that Cox has one. Hopefully Evo's injury/illness/issue that made him retire at Hull isn't serious and he'll have one. I don't think that Pauffley will get wild cards twice in a row and Knights or Angus will get them now. So my guess is that they have gone to Cox, Evans, Allinson and Eaton.
Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
I don't think that the LTA is in a hurry to give him wild cards. It's not a bad thing as playing qualies can make up for a lack of international tennis at younger ages. Look at Morgan or Ward, who didn't play ITFs when they were young but are doing fine now.
Oh, to even think that he could have been top 50 by now.
Yeah, but Jag isn't even in the qualies draw. Is there another British Tour event he might be playing this week?

Maybe Jag has a wc but seems strange as Harry Skinner beat him last week but he's only in qualies
I guess it depends on whether Evo is injured....if not Arka's guesses of Cox, Evo, Eaton and Allinson seem likely to me especially given Allinson's performance in British tour last week
Nah, think you understood it ok. I was asking about whether you thought he might have a wildcard, which I think is what you answered.
But reason I was asking is because he ain't in qualies draw. So a wildcard might seem to be an explanation why. Only other place he might be is a British Tour event and there isn't one, so he must not be playing this week.

Sounds great It sounds very much like the viewing facilities at Sutton which were really good....
I'm interested in particular to watch the juniors like Cox, Evans etc so hopefully the likes of Milton and Hewitt can come through qualies....would be interested in watching Rice too but I'd rather Slabba came through that section
