Anna Fitzpatrick is in the qualifying draw on the second leg of her series of American tournaments. Last week she lost to Ashley Weinhold in the second round of qualifying - and there is a chance of a rematch at the same stage.

Ashley Weinhold USA vs Salome Devidze GEO
Mami Inoue USA vs Lindsay Lee-Waters USA
Heidi El-Tabakh CAN vs (8) Mary Gambale USA

I don't know, going for the bigger events is positive I always think, but maybe they need to be more mixed up. a few 25s with one 50 in the middle perhaps. as is it seems to just be knocking the confidence back as tough match after tough match occurs.

ye you make a good point!
its just that when she played in england she hasnt exactly been whipping everyone she didnt make much of an advance in the nottingham 25k and went to moscow and lost in a 25 and a 50 first round. i do think she is a great player i just think since she needs to make smarter decisions with her tournament planning

I'd forgotten the moscow loss. But I think we're basically in agreement just with slightly different angles so I won't argue pointlessly with you smile.gif
