Amanda Carreras plays Greek top seed Anastasia Kontratevidi in rd1. Tough draw as the Greek is a leftie and a clay-courter but she's only ranked 569 and Amanda has beaten players ranked much higher than that on clay this year....I think she has a good chance

Match was played today but results not up yet

Yeah pretty good scoreline from Amanda...number of tight losses against player ranked 400-600ish recently, she'll been winning these sort of matches soon

What a result from Maddie, right out of the blue....tournament has been delayed by rain so no rd2 matches played yet

Maddie lost her second round match:

Viet-Ha NGO (VIE) defeated Maddie BROOKS (GBR) 6-7(7) 6-4 6-1

Sad result, but it's good to see Maddie (Annika???) winning matches again.
