He was just outside the MD entry positions but now in the MD I presume as he is not in the QD.

the bloke he is playing used to be ranked in the top 300, so i think it might be a little tricky for him.

First name Amadeus just like the music man himself. (at least I assume that's the reason!!)

MD1 :

DE ARMAS, Jose (VEN) WC v FULFORD-JONES, Amadeus (GBR)

FJ got a DA...not a WC

Sorry to break it to ya Mad, but looks like you need a lie down too wink.gif Seagull says in the second post that Mozart drew a WC in rd1 not that he got in on one.

Ah.  It was a bit ambiguous, she claimed desperately, as she headed for the lie-down.

An unranked WC in round 1 is the draw you want in round 1, but not one who has been top 250 and beaten Rios in the davis cup

Mozart hopefully will win this match, but unless he is still out of form, I don't see him winning the match, which is a great shame

Rios never took that fella to a tie break! Mozarts gonna make it big!

(granted the final set was 8-6 but overlook that!)
