Not sure where Katie's heading, she's down for several

The feed-up to Kolkata comes from Lexington, where Anne was a finalist. That means Stephanie Dubois (winner) either opted not to take up the place or swapped it with Anne for the Vancouver feed-up (a very unusual situation with 2 50Ks producing the same finalists but different winners in consecutive weeks allows this possibility)
I thought Anne's win in Vancouver fed her up into the Toronto qualies, or maybe I was misinformed as I think I read that on WTAworld and well, all info gathered there should be taken with a pinch of salt.
I have just checked the official ITF Feed Up list for 2007. Lexington feeds into Kolkata MD, whilst Vancouver feeds into Quebec City QD. I guess Dubois didn't fancy the trip out to India.
Chakravarthi is 30 years old and has a career high of 310. She's currently ranked 363. Naomi should be able to win this encounter. Her potential second and final qualifying opponent is Monique Adamczak (3) from Australia. Monique is ranked 182 in the world and is coached by Federer's former coach Tony Roache. That would be a tougher affair for Naomi.
Sarah has drawn an unranked player who I couldn't find on the ITF website...maybe she has never even played a competitve match??? Who knows. Her likely second and final opponent will be Marta Domachowska who she memorably beat at Wimbledon in 2006. Let's hope she can repeat that victory, though it will probably be tough.
Well it looks like Naomi's original opponent has pulled out so she now faces Sanaa Bhambri of India. She's ranked 467, her best results do far this year are just a few 10k quater finals so naomi should quite easily progress.
you have uni at weekends ?? and about 1 month's holiday a year...Do they give u any time off over there ?
both Naomi and Sarah will have finished their matches by now but live scoreboard wont be working till main draw starts...when Naomi comes on msn I'll ask for some info
the official website http://www.sunfeastopen.com isnt giving any info on the qualies but from the look of things, there could be live streaming for the main draw
Anne has drawn Sara Errani in the first round. Errani has just had a run to the SF in Bali so it will be a very difficult encounter for her. If she comes through that match, her likely second round opponent will be Sania Mirza.
