@ that field, crazily strong with the top 5 seeds all top 100 and the draw packed with dangerous floaters: Anthony Dupuis, Jeremy Chardy, Peter Wessels, Gilles Muller etc.
Lugassy is a very good rd1 draw considering. He's a leftie who's ranked about 30 places higher at 212. However, Bloomfield won both their previous matches in straight sets, back in 2005. Lugassy has made 5 futures finals this year but has not had the same success in challengers, his highlights being a couple of quarters in Brazil last month.
Richard's got lots to defend in October so its crucial that he makes some headway in the next few weeks if he's going to get near to top 200 by the end of the season.
Last year in this tourney he beat Arazi in 3 sets before losing to Meffert
http://www.opendorleans.com is the tourney website....there's live scores but last year they didn't work till the quarters. Drawsheet is updated with latest results regularly though and they do mini-reports on the homepage.
