This certainly won't be entirely straight forward. Del Bonis is just 16 and last week he qualified for Spain F32 and reached the quarter finals, winning 5 matches in total, meaning he is due a ranking jump in a couple of weeks.

He has mainly been playing the tough Spanish Futures circuit, usually winning at least one match in qualifying, although his only other ranking point was gained in Argentina, where he won 4 matches in qualifying and reaching the second round.

Last week he beat the world number 425 Juan-Albert Viloca-Puig in straight sets so James should beware. However, all being said, I'd still expect James to win this match.

Brilliant win for Ward, and hopefully this will be the tournament that he really starts to impose himself upon and make the move towards the top 600 and then the top 500.
