Boggo begins US Open fortnight up two places as Falla and Guzman defend points from the US Open and a Challenger from last year.

What if.......

Boggo has 338 points and starts the fortnight at 122.

If he qualifys he'll have 355 points and will overtake Jones. No- one in qualifying can overtake him.
Best and worst case 121 (up 3) and a place in the US Open

If he reaches the qualifying round, he'll have 343 points and can overtake no-one.
He can be overtaken by:
Ascione and Cuevas (if they qualify)
Best case 122 (up 2) Worst case 124 (no change)

If he reaches the second round, he'll have 339 points.
He can be overtaken by:
Ascione (if he reaches the qualifying round)
Cuevas and Norman (if they qualify)
Best case 122 (up 2) Worst case 125 (down 1)


If he loses in round 1, he'll have 328 points
He can be overtaken by:
Ascione (if he reaches the qulifying round)
Cuevas, Norman And Zib(if they qualify)
Best case 122 (up 2) Worst case 126 (down 2)

(NB: Montcourt could come into the reckoning if he does well at the Manerbio Challenger this week)

Darcis and Waske advanced yesterday. Capdeville, Ascione and Cuevas won but don't advance. Fleishman lost.

Cuevas and Waske also advancecry.gif; Capdeville, Dlouhy, Darcis and Falla win but don't advance. Norman and Zib lose smile.gif


Alex can't be overtaken today, but Cuevas can overtake if he qualifies. hmm.gif

Cuevas didn't just knock Jamie Baker out of the US Open today, he also overtook Boggo cry.gif  Alex down to 124 - back where he started the fortnight hmm.gif

Ascione, Darcis and Waske also advancecry.gif; Dlouhy, Falla and Luzzi losesmile.gif


Alex has no more threats this week, but Darcis and Waske will be right there for the first round of the US Open main draw!
