Jenny Allan and Amanda Carreras decided to hang round in Finland. Can't say I blame them.


1st and final qualies round


(1095) (RUS) Eugenia Pashkova vs (GBR) (unr) Jennifer Allan


(unr) (GBR) Amanda Carreras vs (unr) (BUL) Maria Toncheva.



My guess is that Carreras has the better chance! Thought she'd have a ranking by now. Hopefully, she will for definite after this tournament.

Jennifer Allan and her partner Sheila Solsona-Carcasona (ESP) won their first round doubles match 6-1, 7-6(4) and face the top seeds in the QF.

Carreras and her partner Raphaela Zotter have yet to play their first round match.
