The race begins on Sunday at 10am.

I'm sailing on a boat called "Habanero" - we're in Class 2C

You can follow our progress here: http://fastnet.rorc.org/tracking.asp

It's a 608- mile long race, and should take us about 5 days.   The winners will be home in about 2! - but we can still beat them on handicap.

Writing from Cowes on the phone: There's a massive storm coming in, forecast to hit on Tuesday. So they've postponed the start to Monday. Cowes is now full of 300 boat crews letting off steam and sinking the beers with nothing to do for 24 hours.....

But there aren't many boats that don't appear on the list. Weather must be awful.
