Bloomers and Baker's Live Rankings during week 30 (Nottingham and Lexington)

Jonny defends 12 points from Nottingham 2006, and drops down off the table and behind Alan to 288 cry.gifJosh defends 12 from Nottingham as well, which will drop him into the 340s cry.gifcry.gif


Richard, meanwhile, stays at 234. He defends 6 points, but a number of  players drop below him.

Jamie climbs 10 places to 245, as players drop behind and he qualifies for Lexington. biggrin.gif

Lammer and Levy can overtake Bloomers by winning their first round matches. Brands by qualifying in Kitzbuhel.:hm:

Chardy, by qualifying for Kitzbuhel and  Stakhovsky, Kiefer, Soeda, Hanescu and Bellucci by winning their first rounds can overtake Jamie hmm.gif

Lee is another Brit defending 12 points from Nottingham 2006: This knockes him out of the top 400. However his win yesterday will bring him back up to about 400, 22 points behind Josh.

Richard's win brings him up four to 230 smile.gifMeffert overtakes hmm.gifLammer can only advance to stay within a match of overtaking with Richard's own advance. Brands is knocked out of Kitzbuhel qualies.

Jamie drops a place as Chardy overtakes by qualifying for Kitzbuhel,furious.gif but is immediately knocked out in R1.

Lugassy, Menendez and Gonzalez also advanced yesterday. Gonzalez, Rusevski and Bastl were knocked out

Today,

Recouderc can overtake Bloomers by winning his first round match against Gulbis in Kitzbuhel hmm.gif Tourte (in Granby) and Klec (in Poznan) can move beyond reach of Bloomers' next win.

If Jamie beats Terachi today,
he will overtake Vejmelka, Ryderstedt, Fornell, Chardy, Ferreiro, Cakl, Witten, Sweeting, Brands and Schwank. 
He could overtake Levy if he loses to Groth in Nottingham.
He could be overtaken by Kiefer (plays Karlovic in Indianapolis) and Hanescu (plays Tipsarevic in Umag)

Best case tomorrow morning, up 11 to 235, Worst case, up 8 to 232.


If Jamie loses, he can be overtaken by Kiefer, Soeda (plays Mamiit in Lexington), and HanescuStakhovsky plays tomorrow.

Best case, he stays at 246. Worst case he drops to 249.

Josh's loss means he's stuck at 103 points which will put him at about 340 furious.gif

Jamie's win shoots him up to 237, six off his career high. Hanescu seems to have found his ATP feet again and shoots past. Levy also wins, and so isn't overtaken - yet!

Hanescu also knocks Richard down a place to 231 cry.gif

Dorsch, Juska, Burgsmuller and Klec advanced hmm.gif
Ryderstedt, Vacek and Rusevski were knocked out

Tonight,

Recouderc might overtake Bloomers if his match is resumed tonight and he can beat Gulbis in Kitzbuhel hmm.gif Tourte (in Granby) can move beyond reach of Bloomers' next win.

Jamie can be overtaken if Kiefer beats Karlovic in Indianapolis.

As you say, Seagull: Kiefer withdrew smile.gif  Also Sweeting and Tourte were knocked out: one less threat for Jamie, one more to overtake for Richardsmile.gif

However, Soeda advances to within a win of overtaking, and Amritraj advances onto the table. hmm.gif

If Bloomers beats the in-form Petschner in Nottingham today,

He'll have 170 points
He will overtake Tourte, Silva, Baccanello, Carlsen and Ghem
He could overtake Hanescu (plays Berlocq in Umag), Meffert (Childs, Nottingham) and Menendez (Waske in Recanati)
He could be overtaken by Recouderc who's a set down against Gulbis in Kitzbuhel and by Lammer who plays Al Ghareeb in Penza.

Best case, he'll climb to 223. Worst case to 228

If Bloomers loses today

He'll still have 163 points
He could be overtaken by Recouderc, Lammer, and Levy (plays Bourgeois in Nottingham)

Best case, he stays at 231. Worst case he drops to 234.

Jamie can't be overtaken today.

That's one place higher than his highest ranking and makes him the new British number 4
