Another good win for myles smile

Grundon, you have misread the draw, myles plays the 5th seed motaz abou el khair (wr 653) In round 2.

Myles really does pick his tourneys well ! Can't get much better than that for a rd1 draw. He's been pretty consistent over the last few months, usually manages to pick up at least 1 pt in each one...hopefully he can take advantage of some of these weak futures fields and make a semi in one...1 or 2 pts is good but in order to really move up the rankings into top 600 and beyond he needs to cash in every so often

He's got a winnable rd2 match, the Egyptian 5th seed El Khair is ranked 653 and lost in rd2 last week to a player outside the top 1300. He competes mainly in Africa, 2007 highlights are two quarters in Tunisia.

Good win for Myles, and a great chance to pick up some big points here, as this event doesn't look to be very strong at all. Hopefully he is over his injury now, and can crack on towards the top 600, and start to be seeded for these events

Myles did v well to get past El Khair. Vejmelka was always gonna be a step too far, this guy is top 300 and made the Iran F1 final last week. Between August and December last year he made no less than 7 futures finals ! If a Brit did that in 2 years we'd think that was pretty good going !
