Brinkmann is unranked. She won two rounds of qualifying in 25K Vallidolid before falling in the final round. She made the QF of a 10K in Greece last year on carpet, but in 2007 has yet to qualify for a main draw of a 10K or 25K. Hopefully Anna should be able to dispatch Lisa.
Anna lost 6-1, 6-2 to Argentinia's Florencia Molinero ranked 370 in the 2nd qualies round Bit disappointing but then again it is clay, by far Anna's worst surface. Also, 18 year old Molinero has been on fire this year...she won a 25K in Mexico and made two 10K finals on clay recently
Since those great results in NZ earlier this year, she's stalled somewhat in the mid 400s...grass season was a little disappointing ,missed a good chance to win a match at Surby and then got injured. However, she doesn't have much to defend till August. I think she should have gone for the 3 British grass tourneys instead of these clay events
