This is in the 1st set, Grosjean leading 5-2

Marray serving:

15-0: deep bh volley into corner

15-15: Powerful G bh return off 2nd serve

30-15: G goes just wide with the fh

30-30: Marray nets easy bh volley

30-40: brilliant scrambling from Grosjean, wins the pt with a lob and then a drop shot

Game and 1st set G: double fault

6-2..

Marray really needs to up his level with the volleying at the moment...from what I've seen, he's not finishing the pts at the net aswell as he was back in 2004 and 2005 when he came soooo close to winning rd1 matches against Beck and Malisse

Missed a few gimmes and the touch isn't quite there...guess it's rustiness, hasn't had that many tourneys since his return

30-0: nets bh slice

30-15: sloppy volley from G, sends it well long with court gaping

30-30: M chip-charges, G pulls pass attempt wide

40-30: M scrambles well but nets fh, looking to attack the net

40-40: great return, right at G's feet

Ad G: big chance goes begging, great chip return, M sends easy volley wide

Game: M chip return goes wide off the forehand

Marray 2-6, *0-1 Grosjean

It Started well for Jonny - and he was looking good, sending in some wonderful backhands.....but Grosjean won the next 3 games to take it to 2-5

15-0: big 2nd serve, G return long

15-15: G return at M's feet....half-volley isn't deep enough, G makes great running pass

30-15: great athletic net coverage from M, finishes with smash

40-15: G nets return....Marray has won 15/31 nets pts so far...serving at 70%

Game: G bh pass is wide

2-6, 1-1

Broken again. Been up a break in sets 2 and 3 but Grosjean stepped it up when needed again. 5-4*
