Didnt hear who Childs got but good chance for Boggo and Baker. Shame about Marray and Blooms. Have to say, can see Jonny following the others after Wimbledon and retiring or concentrating on doubles.
davydenko is truly terrible on grass! i think his record is 2-12 or something like that!
best draw boggo could hope for really considering its a grand slam. whilst it is unlikely, i think he has a semi-realistic chance of making the last 16! or put it this way, you couldn't imagine him having a better chance of making the 4th round, considering his potential opponents.
guccione is a tricky opener, but JB beat him and alex would prob do well against him (he's a bit of a serve - vollier right?). would then facny him vs davydenko or korolev and 3rd round player (prob johanssen) is beatable!
jamie got a decent draw and lee does have every chance. jonny or josh could spring an upset but prob not!
lol i wish boggo would have got davyd 1st round then, problem with gucci is that boggo will be expected to win (even tho gucci is higher ranked) so will be feeling the pressure, extra due to the fact its wimby and he has never won here.
gucci is a big serve volleyer

Childs vs. Quereshi.... expect a few tie breaks in this match, as both of them are pretty big servers, so there won't be a lot of breaks in this match. Childs is probably the underdog, but if he serves as well as he can, then he has a chance of winning this match. Safin may be totally out of form at the moment, but would probably end Lee's tournament in R2
Baker should be able to beat RV, as you would have to say that Guccione and Peya are better on grass than the frenchman is. This is possibly one of the best draws that he could have got, as it is a definate chance of a win. Becker would probably have enough with his serve to beat Jamie in Round 2 though
Henman should beat Moya who hasn't played on grass for years. If Tim loses this match, then retirement must be a thought, as he has drawn a clay courter who he would beat with ease a couple of years ago. How far he can go with all depend on how fit Murray is, as I couldn't see him beating a reasonably fit Murray, but if Murray doesn't play then he may be able to find 1 last great performance to beat Tsonga
Goodall has a tough draw against Lopez, who will probably be too good for him in the end, but Lopez hasn't won a lot of matches recently. Still, the possibility of him meeting Tim in R2 could motivate him get the win
Murray's performance will all depend on how fit he is... if he near 100% then he should be able to overcome Lapentti in the first round, and then probably will be able to sneak past Tsonga and Henman/Lopez to reach the 4th round where Gasquet is more than capable of choking against him. However.... if Muzza isn't that fit, then I wouldn't be surprised to see Lapentti upset him, as he managed to reach a wimbledon QF and only lost to Nalbandian (Guessing Murray would have prefered to be in the Nadal half of the draw, as that would give him an extra day to get ready)
1 name earlier, and Bogdanovic would have had the dream draw against Davydenko on grass, but instead he has to put up with Guccione. He should probably get the win, but I don't want to be too confident about this, as he failed to really deal with the big serve of Roddick and of GGL, and Guccione's serve is in a similar league. However, Baker broke him a few times, and Boggo is better than Jamie, so a good chance for Boggo to win a match here, especially as Guccione won't break his serve too often. 4th round isn't out of the realm of possibility here, as Davydenko in Round 2 is winnable, and then Vliegen/Monfils/Tojo in the 3rd round is winnable, and none of them have shown any form this year, and with the crowd behind him Boggo could win that match. Baghdatis or hopefully Nalbandian will be too much in round 4 though (hoping Dave shows up fit and caring here, so I can see my two favourite players meet in round 4, and then let the winner take on Hewitt in the QF)
Bloomers got taken apart by Ginepri and Bjorkman, so I have no confidence that he can have a prayer against Hewitt. Bloomers has got the kind of draws that Boggo got last year, but he won't get anywhere near as many games as he did against Nadal. I suppose the 1 good thing is that he may be on a show court
Marray may as well not bother as well, as Grosjean should be far too good for him, even though the guy seems unable to win 2 matches in a row at the moment. If he serves brilliantly, then he may have a chance, but the only problem is that Seba deals with the s/v's really well
Last Brit standing..... Boggo or Murray in the 4th round, or possibly Henman in round 4 as well if Murray isn't fit
lol i wish boggo would have got davyd 1st round then, problem with gucci is that boggo will be expected to win (even tho gucci is higher ranked) so will be feeling the pressure, extra due to the fact its wimby and he has never won here.

yeah i agree, davydenko would def have been a better draw but everyone will think he has it easy vs guccione! however there is a great incentive if he can get through, and hopefully he can take past experience into the match, and of course he quite likes a target at the net which guccione would provide! so fingers crossed.
ps can't believe i just made up the word "vollier" in prev post!
