Despite Tim and Andy, British tennis is off the tramlines

http://www.sportingo.com/article/1001,3737

Looks like the "9 Brits out in round 1" articles have started early this year. There was one in The Sun last week. Steven Howard basically said how generous the All England Club was to give 9 wildcards to Brits and that unless Murray is fit then all Brits will be out of mens and womens draws by 9pm on Tuesday. Time for all the guys and girls to step up and prove everyone wrong for once.

PS I love the description of Tim Henman in that article as stumbling along the baselines of the world like an amateur wannabee. Just shows the author up to be the clueless bumbling journalist wannabee he turly is.

Is this written by a sports journalist he writes on football for 50 weeks a year and has to earn his pay over the summer b slagging off our tennis players for two weeks a year.

Have you seen the writer's profile? It says it all ...

I'm a keen, out of work sports writer with a passion for writing on all sports or rather commenting on it. I currently work as a foot messenger but would love to be paid for writing about it on any paper or mag. I'm 43 now but would like to think that one day I can translate that enthusiasm into hard cash and a respectable living. I'm at www.reminiscethis.co.uk with several footy articles in the 50s, 60s and 70s sports section.

Haha, what a loser. And he has the cheek to call the former world number 4 and 6 time grand slam semi finalist with over 11 million dollars in prize money and 11 singles titals in the bank an "amateur". Does it leave an email address for this guy?

What an arse....I mean....funny that it would come out on a day like today when we had some great results at the Timbledon qualies, Eastbourne & Nottingham.

If there is any charity in the draw this fool will be licking his wounds!
