I hadn't posted this as there was no Brit interest, but now Tim has a wildcard. . . Come on, Nottingham, give one to Boggo as well!
Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
Bogdanovic will now head to next weeks Nottingham Open in a far more optimistic frame of mind after being handed a wild card into the event and Roddick is certain far better things are a distinct possibility for the left-hander.

lucky bloomers but he probably deserves it. he did bt boggo 2 weeks ago. had a v tough rd 1 in queens. Jamie got about as easy a rd1 as is possible at atp lvl bar local wc's and had a great match v boggo to make the headlines. goodalls been the one to get left out.

ultimately lta have recently said that wc's should be based on a full year's play, not just a week or so, which is prob why they went for bloomers, who has made decent strides since this time last yr!
Bloomfield has the 3rd Wild Card - I think he can count himself lucky
I am sure he does count himself lucky, he said on radio that he 'lost his way' this week at Queens when things didnt go quite right. And I happen to know he was on the train to sign in for Nottingham quallies when WC was announced. But like someone said he beat Boggo in straight sets last week, which is more than Roddick could do!
