Andy's Live Ranking during Week 24 (Queens/Halle)

The New Table is posted here (on britishtennis.net)

Massive thanks to Bethan for sorting things out so far this week:
I was beset by a number of difficulties, including a great sailing Regatta in Portugal, a minor back operation, the need to significantly work on my spreadsheet to make up for all the complications of Roland Garros fortnight, and the need to rebuild the week 24 one from scratch when the file somehow got corrupted......... I'm back w00t.gif

From Bethan's Brits thread:

Monday:

Andy Murray: As has been mentioned elsewhere, Blake is defending finals points from last year and so drops behind Andy. He'll need to reach the final in Halle to reovertake. Gasquet could also overtake by winning in Halle. So Andy is safe in the top 10 for another week. At the moment Andy has a running rank of 8.

Tuesday:
Andy Murray
Still at 8 in the running rankings. As has been said Gasquet lost meaning Andy cannot go any lower than 9th this week. Still need to get Blake out before the final though!

Blake plays Korolev today

but Blake can still lose before overtaking and we needed Korolev to lose or he'd have overtaken Tim so it's not that bad a result.

fair enough. I tihnk Blake may win Halle with no Fed there. Hope not though as top 8 seeding for Wimbledon would be just bonny!

Yeah, he's really sneaking up the rankings, he'll be one of Andy's threats before too long if he continues like this.
