Tracy Castillo (unr) (GER) bt Nadine Doutre (GBR) (unr) 6-1 6-2 cry.gif

Main draw

Brown (883) vs Stamatia Fafaliou (GRE) (676) (6)

Funny one this. I thought she represented Germany before as well, but her profile now clearly says British confused.gif

I've heard she has an english father, maybe explains the switch.

I looked at her profile on ITF and she did used to play for Germany, but it seems she was born in Britain so as you say probably has english parentage - she has had some promising results so I'm happy to have her play for us smile.gif

Aha! Good reserch people.

It was weird coz I used to see her name and then GER and think that seems like a British name. But if she has parents of different nationalities it explains it!

MAybe the LTA seemed better than the German tennis bods?

laughing.gif Nah! She must have just moved back here laughing.gif

Shes just made our 1990 year even stronger but it still is sucha strong year for GBR girls with

Jade Curtis, Yasmin Clarke, Naomi Broady, Jade Windley and now Katerina and i've prob missed loads of girls out. Makes for an exiting under 18 national champs if all play.
