Richard starts the week at 187: No- one ahead was defending enough points to drop behind.
The San Ramo title could take him as high as 164. A first round win will take him past Ventura.

Not a good day to be ranked between 180 and 200:
Richard
is knocked out, but so are:
Kollerer, Lorenzi, Haehnel,
Odesnik and Mertl.
There's only
Silva
left on the table. He plays Boggo's victor Karanusic in Zagreb today.
Bloomers's What- if:
To overtake Richard:
Silva
needs to reach the Zagreb semis: past Karanusic and either Haase or De Voest.
Armando
needs to reach the Forest Hills final: past Kuznetsov, Capdeville and Garcia.
Gonzalez
needs to reach the Zagreb final: past Ascione, Tipsarevic, Hatfield and Monfils
Fognini
needs to win San Remo: past Granollers, Dolgopolov, Llodra and Patience.
Mayer
needs to win Forest Hills: past Echagaray, Brzezicki, Goldstein and Capdeville.
Vik
needs to win Zagreb: past Hartfield, Economidis, Tipsarevic, Monfils and Delic.
Best case: he stays at 187. Worst case, he drops to 192.
