First Wild Cards to Andreev and Cilic!

Queens always do this though...ignore the Brits in favour of the 'big names'!!

i wonder whether we should be a little more sly with our WC choices.

Its all about maximum exposure for Brits.

I reckon if we nominated Boggo to help him hit 100
then Baker and Marray...

We can expect Josh and Richard to qualify because on this surface they would have every chance (Flanagan has done it recently eyepopping.gif), then not only would we have 7 in the main draw but 2 would have scored points in qualies too.

Clearly Baker and Marray may come through qualifying too but they may struggle a little more than the other two.

The sad reality is that some 37th ranked numpty will get unexpectantly dumped out of Roland Garros and decide he needs a quick points fix before Wimbledon and offer Stella Artois tournament director special favours and get a WC instead and the Brits will be left to rot in a sea of underachievement.

Rambling ideas and rant OVER.

Srichapan is likely to withdraw according to a THAI fan on MTF. Fish and Malisse may be doubtful.

Won't get us more Brits but might weaken the draw slightly.

Interesting that James Blake went for Halle this year...

Queen's is my favourite event, more than Wimbledon. Tim is there like at home.

Righto.

I would love to see the event scrapped. It's a pity that all the troubles with the club's ownership didn't see an end to the tournament.

Cilic's wild card is fair. Andy was given one in Zagreb.

Andreev? confused.gif He won't even sell tickets!
Hopefully he'll pick up an injury at Roland Garros. pray.gif
