either of Karen's potential rd2 opponents could be quite tricky. Couts is 17 and reached no 35 in the juniors last year....only ranked 860ish on the women's tour but she qualified for a 50k earlier this year.
Krauth is a clay-court specialist who's ranked in the 600s but has been top 250 in the past
Karen plays Erica Krauth in rd2..tricky match as although Krauth's slipped down from where she used to be, she's now starting to string some wins together on the clay.
Tara Moore was entered here but withdrew
It's definately been a brave decision from her to play all these challengers after the 10K success she had at the start of the year. She's done quite well considering how tough a lot of the fields have been...I was hoping though that she might play a few hard court 10Ks mixed in with the challengers, she really could have racked up some pts then plus hone her game on the clay.
