Stretch and Booty Blog from Barcelona

Not sure how many of you have picked up on this, but Jamie and Eric are the resident bloggers from ATP Barcelona this week. Check out their ramblings here.

Jamie sounds like he is having a good time. . .

So, they expect Andy to play Estoril, do they?  Interesting. I hope he really is fit enough, and doesn't play too soon and damage himself further.

Awesome that they are getting a website. A further sign that this partnership is for the long run!

I'm well glad some slightly less glam players are getting the blogs now!

Stands to reason I guess or we'd have Rafa and Fed on and off all year

I agree, and i like to hear from these two who are certainly the most exciting pair on the doubles scene. I look forward to reading the rest of the week and hopefully they win lots of matches so it lasts longer biggrin.gif

Ooops.  Ah well, it will be a very short blog - I can't imagine they will stay in Barcelona after losing.

For anyone who hasn't noticed, Stretch and Booty are continuing the blog even though they've gone out. So I'm happy again (still sad they lost of course).

Booty: We played a match with Delgado/Auckland today and lost 6-4, 7-6.
Only thing was, we were playing for 2 butts up shots per player per set.
Meaning they got 8 serves with us looking like this!!! They connected too, usually a player gets hit maybe 1 of 3 or so, but these guys hit us on 5 of
8 serves. Let's just say that Jamie may be a bit sore when sitting on the plane tomorrow!!!

I reckon Auckland still plans to play with Delgado long term but needs Jamie to up his ranking a bit...

I wouldn't like to take an Auckland serve on my backside! jawdrop.gif
