Stadler drops 11 places, so Josh rises to 213.

Jamie goes up 5 places to 232 as Soeda, Istomin, Cracian and Sabau defend points from 2006.

Jonnie rises 4 to 246, with Lugassy, Sabau, Faurel and Calatrava dropping.

Alan goes up 5 to 260 (Calatrava, Ionita, Faurel, Marin and Bopanna)

In Barcelona today, Schukin plays Eschauer, and overtakes Josh if he wins hmm.gif

In Florianopolis tonight, Villagran was knocked out smile.gif silva and Ferreiro advance hmm.gif

Jamie plays Gonzalez in Florianopolis tonight, and will overtake Vemic, Jeanpierre, Klec and Ventura if he wins. He could also overtake Dabul if he loses to Saretta.
Best case, Jamie rises to 227, worst case to 228 (Improving on his Career high of 235 biggrin.gif)


Today, Marin plays Vanek in Barcelona, and will go past Jonny and Jamie (if Jamie loses) if he wins tears.gif

In Florianopolis, Junquera overtakes Jonny if he beats Alves hmm.gif; Mayer overtakes Jamie if Jamie loses and Mayer beats Miranda.

If Gonzalez beats Jamie, he overtakes Josh hmm.gif

Jamie lost to  Gonzalez in Florianopolis.  Gonzo overtakes Josh furious.gifJosh down to 216 tears.gif

Junquera overtakes Jonny furious.gif Jonny down to 247 cry.gif  Mayer overtakes Jamie furious.gif Jamie down to 233. cry.gif

Zeballos, Dabul and Soeda also adance cry.gif

Marin, at least, was knocked out. smile.gif


Despite today's loss, Jamie can still end the week at a career- high ranking:
He needs to beat 235, and is currently sitting at 233.
Junquera can overtake if he beats Cuevas in Florianopolis tonight hmm.gif
Soeda can overtake if he reaches the semis in Korea. He plays Yoo tomorrow, and is seeded to play Terachi in the QF.
Unless both overtake, Jamie will be at a new high smile.gif

Errr... Greg's already dropped off the bottom of the live table - he's lying at 282 - which is too far below Alan to be worth keeping him on.

He might just get back on next week, depending on who's defending points from week 18 last year,  but then his 75 points from Rome come off, leaving him with just 54.
