I always get confused between the two. They come from the same country, were born around the same time (18 months difference) and what's worse - they both had a Junior career high of world number 3.
Now that I have embarrassed myself with that mistake, I'm sure that I'll be able to distinguish between them for the rest of my life.
is this draw starting to look better for alex? surely he should get a top 4 seeding now. be nice if he can keep his winnign run going, make the sf's for further. hpe he can so when he eneters clay he is in a winning frame of mind.

Great stuff for Alex...he'll be v pleased to see those 4 out of the tourney, he beat Wang in Bangkok last year but it was very close and Wang's the sort of player who can give Alex lots of trouble with his counter-punching game...very similar style to Kevin Kim who beat Alex at Wimbledon 2005.
As Count says, great chance now to make the semis especially on fast hard courts
De Voest and Tsonga are probably still the 2 favourites for the title...De Voest made the Tallahassee challenger final and has a 3-0 record v Alex (plus he's taken a set of Murray in the USA !)
I presume that Jim May is now mainly focusing on doubles and using singles as match practise as he's lost nearly all his points...Could cause some upsets here if he continues the form he showed in Cardiff. Nesterov is 24 and has just 1 pt so it's a match Jim should win
Big serving Feeney's ranked 344 and had a brilliant 2006 with several futures finals...soared up the rankings. However, he's had an ordinary 2007 to date...a quarter-final in the UAE is the highlight to date...Hutchins could cause an upset here
not bad for boggo, he beat smeets comfy in valenica 63 62, when he says he want playing well. Q or tourte in the 2nd round too. okun in the qf's, hmm, maybe a chnace to get a monkey of his back?. De Voest in the semis would be the most likey line up. hard to call that one.
jonney, him not a bad draw to get a win, a knakcred, jet lagged boggo disposed of vacek easily the other week, but a 2nd rd v mahut wont be pretty.
i think jamie might be catching a early flight home to be honest. excluding cardiff tosonga on fire atm. its been tough for jamie recnetly, but thats the way it is sometimes and hopfeully he can learn from it.
goodall with a Q cant call, dudi sela 2nd round could go either way i think sela is a bit inconistent. rik de voest QF. cant see josh going further.

His coach Pete Russell has been planning a 2 week training block for him in April to work on fitness...I guess this is week 2 of it....hopefully it pays off when he hits the dirt next week
Do we know who Jim's partnering on doubles this week?
He partners Mustafa Ghouse of India, they're 4th seeds so plenty for Panda to cheer for this week Neil Bamford would have been playing here but he's damaged ankle ligaments
Doubles rd1 draw:
Goodall/Hutchins (1) v Pedrini/Stoppini (Ita)
Baker/Marray v Loglo/Menendez (wc)
May/Ghouse (4) v Snobel/Vacek (Cze)
Excellent chance for Goodall and Hutchins to make another challenger final...would be their first of 2007
