Tim's Live Ranking in Week 16 (Monte Carlo)

The table will be posted shortly.

As the week begins, Tim climbs 2 places as Gilles Simon defends a Round 3 from 2006 and Gaudio defends a semi- finals place. Both drop below Tim.

Also dropping places are Acasuso, Rochus, Mayer and Vliegen.

Tim could rise as far as 21 with a Monte Carlo victory. He can be overtaken by players as far down the rankings as Federico Luzzi at 130.

#3 threat, Simon and #4 threat Volandri both lost, as did Gicquel and Verdasco.  #5 threat Massu, #6 threat, Vliegen and #7 threat, Kohlschreiber as well as new threat Garcia-Lopez-Murray all won cry.gif

Today could be a bad day for the ranking: , #1 threat Clement plays Robredo, #2 threat Mirnyi plays Roitman and #3 threat Massu plays Tim's conqueror, Ferrero. All three can overtake if they win cry.gif

New #5 threat, Kohlschreiber plays Nalbandian.

Mirnyi is a set up against Roitman. Forza Sergio!!!! - hopefully Roitman can help Tim out as well.

Nice early finish in Tim world!

Mirnyi beat Roitman, and overtakes Tim: cry:. But he's the only one of the three who does, as Clement and Massu are knocked out.

Kohlschreiber beat Nalbandian and is the new number 1 threat.

Tomorrow, #1 threat Kohlschreiber plays #3 threat Garcia-Lopez-Murray. #2 threat Vliegen plays Nadal. Both can overtake if they make it to the quarter- finals.hmm.gif

Lee plays Federer. Mirnyi plays Soderling.

No- one left in action this week on Tim's table:

Kohlschreiber (having overtaken Tim yesterday) went out in very quick time to Nadal in the QF in Monte Carlo.

Vassallo Arguello  was knocked out of the Marrakech semi- finals by Peter Luczak.
