Alex Bogdanovic (GB) WR 147 v Harel Levy (ISR) WR 287
They have never played each other before and on paper alex should walk this.
Levy is approaching his 30's and his highest ever ATP ranking was 30 so is no mug. He has won future title this year (Israel F3) and made the semi of Croatia F2. He also got the SF of the Talahasse challenger doubles. Harel has a very poor 2006 with only 1 SF challenger appearance. He has had injuries and has already had to retire from 1 match this year.
He has never won an ATP title with just 2 final appearances in Toronto (2000) and Nottingham (2001).
I doubt Alex will walk this unless Levy throws a shocker, he can be a very dangerous player on his day - beat Querrey in straights in the autumn. He's most effective on slowish outdoor hard and clay, hits with very heavy topspin. In rd2, he knocked out the hard hitting 6th seed Sam Warburg 7-6, 6-4 and took out big serving serve-volleyer Rajeev Ram in the quarters.
Levy's results against Brits aren't great....Andy Murray thrashed him twice in 2005, Parmar has a 3-0 winning record against him and Martin Lee also beat him
You listening on radio tennis drew? I'm quite looking forward to this. Ken rocks!
