No, don't wish Jennifer luck! We don't want her to play here as that would mean her losing in Notts early.

That's good though isn't it Panda Bear ? Playing this tourney will get her much more valuable experience than a junior event in Notts

Jess and Jen both have winnable rd1 matches. Would be v interesting to see a quarter-final between Deb Armstrong and Jessica, Deb would win but it'd be interesting to see if Jess has the counter-punching ability to make a match of it.

Can't see beyond a final between Deb and Natasha Hillyer and going by current form, I reckon Natasha will have the edge.

I watched Deb in Sutton, she's got a lot of natural flair and hit some wonderful winners off both sides. Plays a very similar style to Julia Bone. I think she needs to go for her shots a bit more and aim to take control of the points more, she's got the shot-making ability.

Tasha has improved a lot recently in these British tour events...Nigel Sears said that she'd made big strides in the past few months. Have you seen her play tennisbrain ? What's her game style ?

How old are Laura White and Kate Smith ?

Have you gone mad?? What good is such stuff going to be to someone who has the results of a future top 100 player? She needs to get her Junior ranking up as soon as possible as she skipped a year for no reason at all.

Most girls in the Junior top 300 can whip this field.

Oh no...

Armstrong beat Jess Ren 61 54 retired.
Sargeant beat Jenn Ren 64 64.

Hingley beat Howey 61 63.
Hillyer beat Smith 60 60.

I hope that she isn't injured and retired just as a precaution. She is playing too much tennis at times - three back to back tournaments isn't very good for a twelve year old.
