Since Benny Becker lost his singles match yesterday he plans to tank his doubles match today with Burgsmuller because he wants to get to Monte Carlo and train early.  Also Phau hurt his back in his first singles qualies match and might pull out of his doubles match.  If he doesn't pull out, I'd take Melo/Sa.  Just thought I'd pass along the information I've been given.

hmm, that could be interesting info for betters, although i am not sure if anyone heregambles, i think shedie does sometimes.

i would imagine that in the dubs betting could be much easier judging by how often you can predcit when a player will tank.

btw did bobby ever get back to you re: talla? i really thought he was going to go on and take the title. Hopefully boggo will get the better of him should they meet in the qf's

I would laugh my head off if the opponents were so woefully bad that he won the match anyway

john, its hard to find sites that take doubles challenger wagers.  i use www.5dimes.com for my picks.  of course they take atp wagers on doubs, but not challengers...guess i shouldn't complain much, i was shocked when i found this site taking challenger singles bets. 

btw, i just sent jamie baker an email and asked him to shoot me over a breakdown of his first round match.

john, if you can, hold off for one more hour.  my "source" is a player on tour, one of our club pros at the club i work at and becker is waiting for tomorrows schedule to come out.  if he plays late tomorrow he will tank todays match vs. kendrick, if they get an early match, they will try and win todays and tank tommorrows.  my source will call me back shortly and i'll shoot over the info.

john, i will post something no later than 2 hours from now.  430 central.  kendrick/kuznetsov go on not before 445 central.  kendrick still has to play delic(next on after fish. mardy down one set on serve in second) then russell/goldstein must play before they go on.  if i dont hear back from my buddy, i'll play something small on kendrick/kuznetsov and if becker does win, i'll play something a lot larger on them to lose(tank) tomorrows match.
