Stretch and Aucks live ranking - week 15

So after a number of weeks of Master's series events and Challengers we are finally back to a 'normal' week for the rankings. Players on the table are playing at ATP Houston, ATP Valencia, Valencia Challenger and Casablanca Challanger this week.

Following on from Aucks's lead these past few weeks, Jamie starts the week up 2 places to WR41, overtaking Jeff Coetzee and David Skoch who are defending points from last year. A first round win in Valencia guarantees another rise (overtaking partner Eric Butorac).

Aucks starts the week unchanged at WR57 with a rise of 2 places likely with a surprise win over the Bryans.

FreeWeb is acting up so I'm unable to post the live table at present, but hopefully it'll allow me to post later.

I'll post a 'what if' thread later on.

"What if" for Jamie

Jamie currently WR43 on the latest ATP doubles rankings (12th= with Butorac in the race)
Jamie currently WR38 on the latest live ranking (9th= with Butorac in the race)

If Jamie loses in the quarters:

His highest possible ranking is 39.

He can be overtaken by -
Haggard if he wins Houston.

His lowest possible ranking is 40.


If Jamie loses in the semis:

His highest possible ranking is 37.

He can be overtaken by -
Haggard if he wins Houston.

His lowest possible ranking is 38.


If Jamie loses in the final:

His highest possible ranking is 34.

He can be overtaken by -
Prieto if he reaches the semis in Valencia.
Allegro if he reaches the semis in Valencia.

His lowest possible ranking is 36.


If Jamie wins Valencia:

His highest possible ranking is 33.

He can be overtaken by -
Prieto if he reaches the final in Valencia.

His lowest possible ranking is 34.

Jamie's distant targets Fisher, Cermak and Friedl all go out in the 1st round.

Target Thomas progresses, as do threats Haggard, Goldstein and Schuettler.

Quiet day on the doubles front on Tuesday, with only Marach and Mertinak winning in round 1 of the Casablanca challenger.

Week 15 rankings updated here (Britishtennis.net) immediately after Jamie's win on Wednesday.

Jamie overtakes playing partner Butorac, as well as Wassen and Garcia to move up to WR38.

Target Kohlmann and threat Lindstedt lose to Booray.

Jamie threat Skoch also goes out to aforementioned Wassen, who doesn't rise any places.

Reynolds loses at the bottom of the table allowing Phau to overtake.

Week 15 rankings updated here (Britishtennis.net) after Thursday's play.

Both Brits depart the scene for this week along with partners Butorac and Huss.

Jamie's main threat Haggard loses (with Schuettler), but targets Wassen, Prieto and Allegro all progress.

Peya and Phau win in Houston, Marach and Mertinak both win in Casablanca.

Aucks "what if" thread updated above. Jamie can no longer be affected by other results.

Jamie will be at a new career high of 39 on Monday. (And will be 9th= in the race)

Moodie wins Valencia to move to within 100 points of Jamie and Marach wins Casablanca challenger to move to within 15 points.

Jamie targets Prieto and Allegro lose in the final of Valencia.

Aucks threat Mertinak loses in the final of the Casablanca challenger and is now only 5 points behind.

Phau and Peya are currently on court in the semi finals of Houston.
