That's fairly easy for me. Has to be Nole

canas has been quite impressive too. but nole just pips it, and to be honest, i dont think you need the apart from andy bit.

would novak do as well if he were british and having to deal with all the extra sh1t on top.

Gonzo was extremely impressive for the AO and Haas had an extraordinary couple of ATP tourneys before Indian Wells, but I have to agree that Djokovic is probably the player of the year thus far.

OR Why not Federer? Ok, so he has just lost in 2 tournaments in a row, but let's not forget he has won a Grand Slam tournament without dropping a single set this year! Also won in Dubai. These last 2 tournaments have cast a shadow over what came before, but the Aussie Open was about as impressive a tournament as you will see from anyone.

definetly Novak and Haas has to a degree..

the people who have not impressed me this year is James Blake ( i hope he gets back on form soon) and also Monfils ( i no he is injured all the time , well it seems to be) but he just needs to take advice of people who no better than he, he is to arrogant to improve his rankings at the moment

On recent form - Nole. He's won Adelaide, won Miami, got to the final of Indian Wells and been in really good form throughout. Still the odd wee ill-advised statement of intent from him at times but I like that.

Haas was very, very impressive prior to Miami.

Mikael Youhzny has had a great start to the year as well. He's a very likeable guy as well so I hope he can keep his good form going.

I would throw Rafa's name in there as well - he didn't start the year off in the best form but is looking great now.

From the otherside - Tomas Berdych has really disappointed me. Every year I start off thinking this will be his big year, this will be the year he becomes a regular top 10 player and challenges at the latter stages and every year he is a big disappointment.

Safin is another - I don't even know if he wants to be playing tennis anymore. How a guy like him can lost to LaLo is still bugging me.
