At last! i hope they dont bring it back EVER! i mean tennis is continuing to grow globally, plus more people are attending tournaments year on year so im glad it is remaining as a great knockout format rather than a silly error strewn-do-not-know-who-goes-through-format!

well done atp for getting rid of it!

i actually give them a bit of respect for trying it out - myself as well as most others thought it was a rubbish idea but i guess you never know until you give it a go - but well done for eating their humble pie and getting rid of it at the earliest opportunity!

Great news. Tennis has worked for forever with a straight knockout competition and it will continue to work well.

Delighted it has been binned but I would have loved to have been sitting in on the meeting between the players and De Villiers to be honest.
