He's currently down under, playing a series of tournaments in Australia and New Zealand. He didn't do particularly well in the NZ ones, lost in qualies to top 1000 players. However, this week in Australia, he's qualified and secured a ranking point with a rd1 win over a lucky loser.

The Australian 15Ks this month are on a surface called classic clay. It's basically astroturf with loads of sand on it and it's incredibly slippy so really favours the big servers like Simon.
