Lovely draw for Sagoo. If he can thrash Flanagan by 1 and 3, he can surely beat Allinson. Should be his first ever ranking point...

The Jagman gonna get a world ranking here I think. Will be very interesting to see how he gets on this week.

Well done to Scott Dickson beating the top seed to qualify. Hope he can gain a ranking point from it although Elseneer will be tough.

Good luck to Sagoo as well, hope he can capitalise on a relatively good draw.

And as for Jamie and Josh, well they'd better manage to make the final this time please guys...

Great win there for Dickson, and before this tournament I hadn't heard of him, so he must be a name to look out in the future then I guess

Good to see Sagoo playing a tournament, and I guess we can find out what all the fuss is about, and whether he is actually as good as we think he is

Some winnable matches for a couple of the Brits, but on the whole it isnt a great draw, as getting more than 4 players through (Baker, Goodall, and the 2 all British matches) would be a bit of a surprise.

Bravo to Sagoo, I hope he can go far this week.

Shame Josh retired, I really hope he's OK

Scott Dickson didn't lose as badly as I feared he would, hope this is the start of something and not a flash in a pan for him.

So the only British winners today were :

Jagdev Sagoo, Neil Bamford and Jamie Baker.

So the 12 were 3....and 2 were from all Brit matches really poor showing lads !

Jagdev's first ever WR point being the bright moment of the day !
