I dunno how well Greg will do here, he'll surely be pretty rusty but if he can get the serve firing, I'm sure he can beat most of the players entered for the qualies. I guess a lot also depends on how fluid his movement is, with the dodgy hip.
His best result in Indian Wells, was making the final back in 1998. He lost to Rios but broke the fastest serve record. For some reason, he hasn't had much success in SoCal since then, don't think he's been past rd3 and most of the time he's lost in rd1 or rd2. Henman beat him in 1999
Hopefully this will show that Greg still has enough ability to compete on the ATP tour, and can put together a good run and qualify. If he serves well, then he should be able to beat a lot of the players, but I guess it all depends on the draw he gets
I don't think we need to worry about Greg and Boggo drawing each other... Boggo's luck will mean he'll draw Canas in round 1!
Really? I'm pretty confident he'll make the qualifying cut without his WC, maybe they are too. Not sure it would be that good for him to get a main draw WC, he needs match practice not money!
