I've extracted the top Brits from most of steveg's 2006 stats lists and I'll post them in the next couple of days, but first let's have a bit of fun. (some of you might find it fun, anyway! )
Without looking at the stats (obviously!), PM me as many of the answers to the questions below as you know (or feel like guessing, based on names you remember cropping up a lot) and I'll post the top scorers when I post the GB lists.
Questions refer to ATP + DC + Challengers + Futures + Satellites + Qualifying for any of these unless otherwise stated. Only men's singles matches are taken into account.
1) Which five Brits played more than 70 matches? (5 points)
(to help you get your bearings, Bloomers played exactly 70, so all of these players played more matches than he did and they all finished in the top 500)
2) Which of those five played the most matches of any Brit last year, an amazing 94? (1 point)
3) Which seven Brits managed a win % of more than 60% and played more than 20 matches? (7 points)
(to help you get your bearings, Boggo and Jonny Marray just miss out on this with exactly 60%, 5 of the 7 finished the year in the top 500, 3 of whom overlap with question 1, one more finished in the top 1000 and the last of them finished outside the top 1000)
4) Which 6 Brits played in more than 30 tournaments last year? (6 points)
(N.B. count 1 per week for a Satellite series - three of these players finished the year in the top 500, the other three in the top 1000)
5) Which Brit had the highest no. of R1 losses in main tour events last year? (1 point)
6) Which Brit played over 50 matches last year without gaining a single ranking point? (1 point)
7) Perhaps even more frustrating, which Brit won more than 54% of his 37 matches last year but still did not get a ranking point? (1 point)
8) 47 players had winning streaks of 12 matches or more last year. Can you think of a Brit who could have been in that list? (1 point)
9) Robert Dee had the worst GB losing streak during 2006 with 18 consecutive losses, but two more players lost 10 matches on the trot at some point last year, can you name them? (2 points)
MAX. SCORE: 25 (if there's no cheating, I'm guessing about 10/25 might be enough to win!)
10) (Tiebreak question) Which two players (in order) who are not a correct answer to any of these questions will be mentioned wrongly the most times by those taking part in this quiz? (I'm pretty sure I already know which two players it will be, let's see if I'm right! )
Good luck!

Imoen did indeed get hampered by not knowing who finished where in the rankings at the end of last year (I'm fascinated as to which of your 7 answers to Q3 you thought was outside the top 1000 - or did you assume you wouldn't get the player outside the top 500, so just picked 6 players in the top 500 in the hope of getting 5? - it worked, anyway, you got 5/7 for that question! ), but she did just enough to take the lead with 11/25!
ForeverDelayed surpassed all that though, with a stunning 18/25. (FD admitted to having seen the answer to one question this morning, but as long as you don't look after you've seen the questions, that's fine)
So far, my guesses about the two answers to the tiebreak question are proving to be extremely accurate.
I'm very impressed that everyone has got into double figures so far , less impressed that one person didn't get Q5 right and surprised that only one person has got Q2 right.

Just to show you where the points are being scored:
Q1: All got 3/6 so far, almost the same 3 in each case too. Q2: Only 1 got it right so far. Q3: 6/7 for FD, 5 for Im, 4 for mk - only one got the player outside the top 500, none got the player outside the top 1000. Q4: 4/6 for FD, 2 for Im & mk - they all got one of the players and one of the players has not been picked by anyone. Q5: 2 got it right. Q6: 1 got it right. Q7: Nobody has got it right. Q8: 1 got it right. Q9: 2 got one of the players, nobody got the other. Q10: 1 got one of the players, even though they had picked that player more than once themselves!
Not sure if this gives any clues or not!

umm, they were pretty much my tactics exactly! (for all the questions not just number 7)
If it's not too much trouble could you pm the realy answers so i can learn for next time!
Bravo to ForeverDelayed, 18/25 is a stunning score.

To look at a thing is quite different from seeing a thing and one does not see anything until one sees its beauty
Gazzpash started off very strongly - the first person to get 4/6 for Q1, he maintained his 1 point advantage over ForeverDelayed until they were 11-10 at the end of Q3. FD then regained the lead by 1 point as Gazzpash scored 2 for Q4, the same as everyone else except FD, but not getting any of the last 5 questions right (hint: Amadeus may well be capable of losing 10 ATP level matches in a year, but he doesn't actually get to play them! ) left him 5 points adrift of FD with 13.
That's still 2nd place though, a very good attempt!

Johnnylad came up with more 'unique' wrong answers (i.e. names not mentioned by any other entrant) than anyone else so far, but didn't do too badly nevertheless.
Just like 3 of the other 4 entrants so far, he got 3/5 for Q1 and he is the third entrant in a row to get 1/1 for Q2. He got 4/7 for Q3 (=last on that one) and 2/6 for Q4, the same as all but one of the others. That got him into double figures and a good tactical ploy on Q6 & Q7 got him a point for Q6 to make his total 11.
Thus, he's equal 3rd with imoen, with neither of their t/b guesses looking likely to be right.
Super t/b question for those two - name one or both of the two Brits who got no less than 4 singles LL places last year?
Didn't expect to get that many right to be honest, but some of my guesses must have been pretty good then...
I think I know which ones I got right after looking at what has been posted, and it seems getting some of the later questions right has helped my score
I also happen to know who one of players who got the LL spot is as well, but no idea how the second is.... and after checking to find out I will amazed if anyone gets it
