...Tim were to play: He would have more points than he does now. He could overtake people properly rather than watch them drop behind him from defending. He could avoid being overtaken by everyone. Best case: top 20 maybe? Worst case: that he fails to take this advice.
...I did the proper post: Tim will end the week with 820 points. One up on the week due to Benneteau's defence of 120 points. He can be overtaken by far more players than I would like. Namely: Acasuso (rd2 BA), Gicquel (qf R), Becker (qf M), Simon (sf R), Ginepri (sf M), Benneteau (sf M), Moya (F BA), Lee (sf M), Horna (F BA), Monfils (F R), Vliegen (F R), Clement (F R), Kohlschreiber (W R). So, after all that: Best case: 37(+1) Worst case: 48(-10)

LOL at that post. Major pins into Acasuso then. Starts in about an hour.

Tuesday not so good for Tim's ranking
Vliegen and Horna advance No- one gets knocked out.
Today, Simon plays Kohlschreiber in Rotterdam. Gicquel plays Clement. Vliegen plays Andy #1 threat, Ferrer. Monfils plays Wildcard Von Scheppingen.
In BA, this evening, Acasuso plays Hartfield in his second RR, and draws level with Tim if he wins. Horna plays the resurgent Canas for a place in the QF. Gaudio plays Ram-Ham, Chela plays Martin.
In Memphis tonight, Becker plays Kendrick. Benneteau plays Lee.
- As for Wimbledon seeding: He's certainly got the game to get back up there in time, and there's lots opf points available in the Masters Series events in the next few months (He's only defending 5 from Indian Wells, 35 from Miami, none from Hamburg or Rome, 5 from Monte Carlo, so it's possible. Will his knee/back/whatever hold out though?
It's interesting that despite his bad results at big events (Masters and Grand Slams - where he didn't reach at least last 8), still ended ranked 39. Fully fit he really has big chance to improve his ranking properly.

A great day for Tim's ranking so far:
Acasuso is knocked out of Buenos Aires, retiring from his RR. Simon, Vliegen, Clement and Monfils are knocked out of Rotterdam, Lee is out of Memphis also Massu looks to have withdrawn from BA.
Just Becker and Gicquel advance. They'll both overtake if they win tomorrow
Gaudio vs Ram-Ham is still to come.
Tomorrow, the big threats: Becker plays A-Rod or ToJo in Memphis, Gicquel plays Davydenko in Rotterdam.
Less threatening: In BA, Horna plays Canas. Moya playsMonaco. In Rotterdam, Mayer plays Van Scheppingen. In Memphis, Benneteau plays Querrey.

Ram- Ham dished out two breadsticks to Gaudio, so he's lost one life in BA, and must now beat Di Mauro, and pray Ram-Ham withdraws from the tournament, as even if he bagels the Italian, Ram- Ham has a better % of games won... So looking good for Tim
