Very impressive 6-2, 6-3 win over Bozo. I guess I'm starting to believe him when he told me that the early loss here in Dallas helped him mentally and physically. Well done JB!!
Hopefully with all the encouraging emails and posts on message boards we received over the last week, the USTA will pony up a few $'s and send the other Craig and myself out to hook the tennis public up things they want/need to know.
Do you know for sure that this is the score (i.e. you're not just picking up the MTF rumour?) - the scoreline seems almost too fantastic to be true - Bozo's become a very good player recently.
If it is true, then wow!

Unless Jamie is lying to me, which I highly doubt.....I'm 99.9% that Baker was the winner. Have faith in your boy. Bozo is solid, but if you can get to him mentally, he's done. He has no fight in him whatsoever. He played doubles in Dallas with one of our touring pros and acted like a complete "Bozo". I have no respect for the kid.
Just got in, can't believe this score! Amazing! Come on Jamie, all the way to the title.

Hadn't realised you;d got it from the horse's mouth nor that Bozo was so fragile mentally. Either way, it's a stunning win to beat a player just outside the top 100 so convincingly.
A lot of us here have had a lot of faith in Jamie and his work ethic, and it's great to see him beginning to reap the rewards this year.

Thanks for posting the result Craig. If you speak to Jamie again soon please pass on our congratulations and best wishes and let him know we're closely following his progress. Thanks.

I just got off the phone again with JB regarding the picture he purchased of Agassi and when it would be sent to his house. I told him I was updating his fans at britishtennis.net on his success and he said he would call me as soon as he kicks Ram's butt tomorrow. Talk to everyone soon.
Jamie is 3rd on Center on Thursday at about 20.00 GMT.
Ram lists his hobbies as golf, calculator bowling (errr), Frisbee, table tennis and ... errr ... tennis!
He is 3-0 v Brits since losing to Andy Murray in the Aptos Challenger in 2005, and one of those wins is a 3 & 4 win against Jamie himself in Aptos last year. Alan Mackin took the 1st set off him in Dallas last week but lost the match.

Jamie is getting some love from the sportsbooks vs. Ram. I actually was hoping he would be a little bit of an underdog in this match. I also like Ryderstedt. He is playing very well of late.
