Mexico F1 - 15K

Will be a pretty weak field for a 15K so possibly a good chance for the  British contigent to gain a good points haul if they can find their form.

Myles Blake, Rob Searle, Ross Connolly, Ed Seator and Amadeus Fulford-Jones are all entered for the qualies.

+ is it hard courts this week and not clay!

Blake ahas been qualifying but can't buy a MD win and the others have struggled to qualify...

Hope the changearound starts this week!

Yeah, it's good that they've avoided the nasty red stuff this week but unfortunately there's a new additional problem - altitude. Mexico City is really high up, Colin Fleming played several tournaments there at the end of 2005 and had a torrid time.

The altitude makes the balls really fly off the court and it also means there's little oxygen in the air so you get tired very quickly. The players who do well here are generally the best conditioned ones.
