Fed Slams

Well its looking like The Fed has another chance to win 4 slams back to back, as at the moment u cant see past him for the AO title, but i was wondering if he won all 4 in a year, or 4 in a sequence, would he be happy if raffa missed the FO when he won it? i think a lot would be taken away from his achivment, same as winning wimby if fed wasnt playing etc.

That's an interesting one. I'm sure Roger would prefer to win the grand slam with a FO win against Rafa included, but I'm sure he'd happily take one with Rafa missing, since in 10 years' time, all everyone would remember is that he was the first player since Laver to win the grand slam.

After all, do you know who was out injured when Laver won his grand slams?
