Eden only has two singles wins so far this year. Baffling to continue going for these big tournaments unless she is giving up on a real effort at singles.

QF: Francisca Jorge & Matilde Jorge (POR/POR) CR 272 (129+143) vs Alicia Barnett & Freya Christie CR 253 (118+135)

The Jorge sisters thrashed Alicia & Freya in R1 last week and went on to win the title without dropping a set including thrashing Harriet & Mladenovic in the final and then thrashed the number 1 seeds in R1 here. Basically, a lot of thrashing going on.

Very close this week, but Lissey and Freya had to save quite a few match points to get as far as they did, notably from 3-5 0-40* in the second set
