Week 31 - ITF ($60K) - Lexington, USA - Hard

Em was *2-5 down in the second. Saved match points to get to *6-5, couldn't serve it out and lost it 9-7 in the breaker.

She had one set point in the breaker and sent down a double at *7-7, which is a big blow.

Frustrating one against a decent college player.

Over and out 60 76(7) cry

Good first round draws as Ace mentions. I can't comment much either on Peyton's tennis abilities, though she is obviously a good junior, but I can comment upon her handstand abilities listed under, "Hobbies: Can hold a handstand for almost a minute, as well as being able to do a handstand with only one arm."

R16: Gabi TAYLOR (GBR) [6] 182 vs Peyton STEARNS (USA) [WC] UNR 16yrs (JCH:49 March 18)
R16: Katy DUNNE (GBR) vs QUALIFIER

Paging PaulM, paging PaulM: Ms. Webley-Smith will be live on the ITF stream in the doubles shortly.
(so will Ms. Dunne)

Katy Dunne should be on soon. Not the easiest opponent for a qualifier.

There's a men's doubles match about to get under way before her match on Court 6.

Ah, forgot it was a joint event (even with the vast GB men interest).

Katy now warming up. All happening at once now, five Brits on court at the same time. Unless I missed someone !

Punishingly hot conditions, which I can't imagine will suit Katy at all.

Katy D off and not quite running, 0-1*

I think it's 6 Brits in 5 matches if you include Katie S's doubles.

Andy vs Kyle, Jo, Alex, Katy D, Katie S+
