Yeah... I... um... I don't understand Tara's current 3 week itinerary planning

I'm sure there *is* a logic to it, but this can't be conducive to optimum perfomance, can it?

Well Tara has had plenty of time to get over from California, since losng her doubles on Thursday. Must be some logic there somewhere !

The doubles draw is also out, and our two entrants are seeded 1 and 2 and both have byes in the first round.

Tara is partnering Quirine Lemoine of the Netherlands and is seeded 1 (183 +167). I believe this is the first time they have played together.
Beth is partnering Erika Vogelsang, also from the Netherlands, and is seeded 2 (216 + 324). They played together in Germany back in February and reached the SF

Beth manages to get the win, 6-4 in the third, against the 25 year-old who used to be approx. top-100.

Well done to her.

Good stuff, Beth adding further 25K points to her QF points of last week.

Up so far to 77 points on Monday week, that provisionally pushes her ranking / CH up further to around 450 and GB #12.

Well done Sara Beth
She has Nuria Parrizas Diaz next, which is a winnable match - not that I make SBG favourite, but NPD can have some very off days.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, as mentioned above, Tara is suffering, 1-6 *0-1

And, Tara succumbs, 1-6 3-6

Tara has become the true definition of a journey woman. Her schedule makes no sense whatsoever.

If she's serious about her career she needs a proper re-think.

Should be a new CH for SBG. Well inside 500. smile As long as she misses #10 she'll be OK.

Tara and Quirine have been goven a walkover into the semis. Melanie Stokke lost in the first round of singles, so either has a problem, or has had enough !
