So Jo had no MP or SP in her singles match but almost won in her doubles. Does that mean she might win her mixed doubles match? ;)

YES! With Dom Inglot beat F.Ferro/E Furness of France 6-4 6-3.

It proved 7th time lucky as Jo with Dom's help won her 1st  main draw match in Paris on her 7th attempt.

Jo and her partner Dom Inglot have pulled out of the mixed doubles 2nd round match but can't find the reason why.

Someone is wondering if it's the WC into the subiton main draw which meant Jo couldn't still be at RG.

I would have thought that Jo's ranking is too high to be allowed to play at Surbiton. Secondly Dom Inglot's instagram account says he is sorry to say they have withdrawn but gives no reason. Nothing could be found on Jo's media accounts or news.

 Surely not ...

As far as I can see, the ITF doesn't have any restrictions on highly-ranked players entering - the WTA does have certain restrictions for 125k tournaments, but I can't find anything that specifically prohibits it.

Well, since Dom and Jo withdrew from their second round match, one of them must have been cited as being injured, since they can't just decide not to play any longer. So they can't both turn up playing in this coming week. Jo might fancy an early start to the grass season - anything to put the clay nightmare behind her - but it would still be extremely surprising if she suddenly turned up at Surbiton with no grass court preparation at all.

You can't withdraw from a GS to play another event in the 2nd week. Or does that not apply to Mixed D?

With kyle and Jamie losing today, is Heather Watson our last player standing

A real shame, from 3-0 up in the third. But the czech pair were finalists in Miami and Siniakova was RU at the US, so no shame.

No shame there, but it is a shame that one doubles win over a bunch of wildcards has seen her not being able to defend her 85 finals points and see her slip to 92 in the live rankings.
